What to consider
State the activity and any required protection. A general work coat must not be assumed to provide chemical, biological or clinical protection.
Sizes, specification and quantities
Share the size breakdown, quantities and any required performance. Exact product details and suitability are confirmed before you commit.
Delivery, artwork & returns
Free UK delivery on orders over £400; £10.00 on orders of £400 or less. One-off artwork setup is £25.00, waived on orders over £1,000. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery. Any variation is confirmed in your quotation.
A general work coat is an over-garment format, so describe what it needs to cover and the activities involved. Include length, sleeve, fastening and pocket preferences. If the role involves chemical, biological or other hazards, give the required protective specification explicitly. A conventional uniform coat should not be treated as evidence of that protection.
Coverage and practical movement
Explain the work and the clothing worn underneath. Compare the final fabric, fastening, pocket layout and access needs with normal movements during the task. If hazards require certified protective clothing, give the specification explicitly rather than selecting a general uniform format on appearance.
Sizes, fit and quantities
Record the measurements required by the selected size chart and the quantity per size. Include the need to reach, bend or wear other layers. Separate any different garment formats or fits so each can be checked against the wearer requirements.
Branding and artwork
For an ordinary uniform, share the artwork and preferred position. If protective performance is required, decoration must also be checked against the exact garment requirements. Suitability and placement are confirmed before artwork is approved.
